Job Summary
The position of Data Manager is to provide technology support services to staff in student information systems (SIS) and financial management information systems (ERP) within the schools and throughout the district as required. Assist school staff with the maintenance, operation, and use of computing technologies as they specifically relate to the financial management and student management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three to five years of experience with information database systems preferred, experience in relational databases and report writing, knowledge of various computer hardware and software, specifically Microsoft software programs
- Experience with Cognos report writing or equivalent report writing software programs
- Experience with K-12 educational institution preferred
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively
- Ability to maintain professionalism during busy times and stressful situations
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Essential Duties and Functions
- Responsible for the development and operation of all data systems in the school district. These include, but not limited to, student (eSchoolPLUS), financial (eFinancePLUS), Special Ed (Special Programs), Clever, Canvas, etc..
- Automate services for third party providers (Canvas, Clever, Principalm, Follett, ParentLink, Edulog, LinkIT, Primeroedge, etc…)
- General IT Troubleshooting
- Assign duties to staff as needed
- Manage migrations/implementation of District bought software and hardware
- Manage/assist in annual rollover and maintenance
- Liaison between Neshaminy and several third-party vendors
- Design, develop, execute programs/scripts to automate and extract data from multiple sources to streamline data processes
- Provide documentation, training, and test environments to help users with new software and processes
- Work directly with Directors, Administrators, Teachers and Staff
- Assist with state (PIMS) and federal reporting as needed
